JOAQUIN CANAY was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. ~ At the age of 16 he began to study tango under the tutelage of Oscar Caballero at "La Casona de Marta" in the Olivos Neigborhood. ~ With Oscar`s help his tango grew step by step and, being supported by his adoptive aunt Marta and the people of the North side of Buenos Aires, he soon fell in love with it. ~ He moved to the US in 2001 and to Ithaca in September of 2003. ~ Since then he has been teaching in Ithaca, Geneva and Rochester.
Joaquin is available for private and semi-privates lessons:
$50/hr for 1 person, $60/hr for a couple (floor rental is additional)
