Daniel Trenner

Daniel Trenner is one of the leaders of tango's revival in North America and beyond,,, having learned from the "Milongueros" in Buenos  Aires with the first generation of young people to return to dancing.

He is the founder of Bridge to the Tango, The Tango Catalogue, and BttTV, which has produced more than 100 instructional videos. He is a  pioneer of the teaching style, now adapted by many modern teachers, that introduces tango by its elements rather than its steps.

Daniel has been called a "Johnny Appleseed of Tango", for his tireless promotion of the dance outside of Argentina. This year Daniel celebrates his  50th Birthday, his 30th anniversary as a dancer, and his 20th anniversary as a tango dancer.

He is recently settled in Northampton, MA, where has been a guest teacher at Smith and Amherst Colleges and  founded Northampton Tango.
