The kickoff to our
‘First Buffalo Tango Festival’
that is to run the entire weekend...
It all starts at the Knox, on
6:00 pm Friday, July 28th, 2006.
Come to see awesome Argentine Tango.
Skits and demo dances.
Experience a cultural phenomenon in action.
Learn to dance the Tango.
Take a free basic lesson from 6:00 until 7:00 pm.., given by Daniel Trenner himself.
Demo dances during the lesson will certainly keep your attention and show what you’re learning to do.
The main attraction runs from 7:00 until 8:00 PM. Ten great Argentine Tango couples performing skits and dance, to show the many varieties and types of Tango that one can do.
The stars, Daniel Trenner and Anne-Sohpie Ville will highlight the show with a terrific presentation of Argentine Tango Dancing, the likes of which has never been seen in WNY before.
Enjoy a wine and chocolate tasting.
Then dance in a giant Milonga (Tango Dance), open to all, from 8:00 to 10:00 pm.
Dancing will be done to a live piano at various times throughout the show and milonga...
